/CZ/

BOO International Film Festival (3. – 9. 11. 2025)

It is a unique platform that will connect experts from V4 countries with European specialists in innovative workshops focused on audiovisual education and audience development. The format is designed as a hybrid educational space, where participants not only gain inspiration from successful foreign models but also develop their skills through guided networking.

Best practice examples – inspiration from 8 international experts from 8 leading organizations for education and development (Danish Film Institute, Screen Scotland, Film i Skåne, PUBLIKUM.io, Swedish Film Institute, DFF – Deutsches Filminstitut & Filmmuseum, Eye Filmmuseum in Amsterdam, Network for Film Education in the Netherlands). To provide participants with a broader perspective and enable them to expand their horizons beyond the V4 region, we will invite 8 international experts who will present successful models for working with audiences and audiovisual education from different countries.

Networking – strengthening professional cooperation across the V4 region. The program will also include targeted networking, connecting experts across the V4 region and enabling long-term collaboration between institutions, festivals, cultural organizations, and educational programs.

The project is co-financed by the governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from the International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
