International Day of Audiovisual Education

/CZ, SK, PL, HU/

27. 8. 2025

International Day of Audiovisual Education will take place simultaneously in all V4 countries and will bring together everyone involved in audiovisual media and audiovisual education – from experts and teachers to lecturers and representatives of schools and institutions. Together with a special guest, Slovenian director Klemen Dvornik, we will discuss cinematography and various ways of using audiovisual media to introduce young audiences to the basics of critical thinking and the diversity of film aesthetics and film language.

The friendly and informal atmosphere of the day will allow participants to share their experiences and will also provide space for informal networking and open discussions related to the topics of audiovisual education and audiovisual production for young audiences.

During the day, inspiring examples of good practice in the field of audiovisual education will be presented in the Czech Republic and other countries of the Visegrad region, together with proven methodologies from the V4 countries, and will also provide teachers and lecturers with space for individual consultations.
