As part of the November program at BOO IFF, audience development will pilot a focus on seniors. The project will be based on a specific focus group consisting of experts, creators, and senior viewers, a workshop focused on content creation for these groups, and educational activities for creators and cultural organizations.

Focus group and direct feedback – The focus group will connect creators with the senior audience and allow them to better understand how this group perceives audiovisual content, what their expectations are, and which elements resonate with them the most. Feedback will not only concern the films themselves but also their presentation, marketing, and the overall viewing experience.

Workshop for creators – senior audience – Experts in film and working with seniors will present methods for creating content tailored to the specific needs of these audience groups. Creators will learn how to effectively work with emotions and visual language for the youngest audience and how to actively involve children in film education. Strategies for creating engaging content for seniors, involving them in film culture, and building long-term relationships with this audience will also be discussed.
