Day after day, the sparrow sees pictures of ostriches everywhere he looks: on posters, in adverts and on his smartphone. The little bird is awestruck by the ostriches with their long necks, dazzling eyes and muscular legs, and wants to be just like them. He goes to the gym to build muscle, watches make-up tutorials and attends a neck-stretching studio, until he finally comes very close to achieving his goal. But one day, when a real ostrich arrives in town and the main character meets his idol in person, one thing becomes absolutely clear: no matter how hard he tries, he can never become a real ostrich.
